First Saturdays at the Brooklyn Museum

August 17, 2016

When it comes to art events in New York city there's no shortage of things to do and galleries to attend in and around the five boroughs. Brooklyn's very own Brooklyn museum and the Target corporation have teamed up to present First Saturdays, A night of Free art and entertainment.

Free Saturdays takes place on the first Saturday of every month from five to eleven pm. Free Saturdays also hosts a Happy hour which starts at four which ends at 6 pm. On this day more than hundreds of people come by the museum to see the gallery exhibits, hear public speakers, watch free films and participate in hands-on art activities. Every first Saturday is organized around a different theme and concept.

A fantastic event with multi-activities to choose from and enjoy. The perfect NYC gem to participate in that not that many people know about.

In the words of the immortal biggie Smalls: "If you don't know now you know."

and now you know.
