Arts Avenue NYC runs as the speakeasy for artists, operating in Chelsea/Hudson Yards. We pride ourselves on bringing the Brooklyn vibe to the city as well as creating an intimate setting for guests, visual artists, and musicians to all interact and connect with each other. with that being said, as our motto suggests we operate as a Mock speakeasy in Chelsea, based in a residential building but operate as a functional Gallery with all the same renovations.
in addition to our showcases, we also provide workshops, classes, and after-school sessions for Nyc local youth organizations and partnered schools. Arts Avenue also provides room for growth and involvement as we rotate volunteers and even offer them the opportunity to host and curate their very own visual art and music exhibit.
We Believe in the Local and working artist. Therefore, Arts Avenue provides an array of different creative opportunities for our resident artists to connect with our guests and attendees:
Here at Arts Avenue, we support the local artists through a series of services such as pop-up exhibitions, performance showcases, workshops/classes, networking events and featured/sponsored artists pages. We believe in cultivating the Nyc arts community. In addition, Arts Avenue provides local news and updates featuring the latest in arts, culture, and locals.

Arts Avenue NYC offers Solo, group, exhibitions paired with themed events featuring local Nyc and Nj based Visual artists, Poets, writers, & musicians/performers. We create an intimate atmosphere with a true creative aesthetic in which people of all backgrounds and ages enjoy.

Thought-provoking, and engaging content
Another Avenue we explore is fun, Thought-provoking and engaging content. We explore these avenues through Podcasts, Blog posts, Video content and more. One of our most popular iterations of this is our one-word series, an ongoing documentary style, and art exhibition series focusing on social justice themes. Our previous showcase was titled One word: Identity featuring an in-depth documentary interview of male participants ages 16 through 40 of different racial backgrounds answering on the concept of identity. In addition founders, Emmanuel Knight and Gerard Thelemaque created a series of Illustrations to follow as a powerful visual narrative for our exhibit.

Partnership In Comics
in 2017, co-founders Emmanuel Knight & Gerard Thelemaque launched Vartes Nyc a comics platform to showcase their love and passion for comics and telling unique stories through their visual art, writing, and game design. Vartes currently runs two monthly comic series created by both co-founders hosted here on Arts Avenue's Website!
