Ink of Sekhmet was a moniker chosen to represent strength. Sekhmet is commonly known as the ancient Egyptian goddess of war, while "INK" is inspired by the old adage pen is mightier than the sword."
Jasmine Mansour has gone by a few artist names, but her latest (and hopefully last) moniker is “Ink of Sekhmet”. Sekhmet is the Ancient Egyptian Goddess of War, which represented strength to Jasmine. She was heavily influenced by anime in her childhood, particularly series like Naruto, One Piece and Fairy Tale where the protagonists struggled through their battles to find a resolution. She likes to mix darker themes, particularly skulls with pops of color and has recently become fond of watercolors and her iPad 6th Generation.
